Drupal
The Views module is at the heart of any modern Drupal site. But are you really using it to its full extent?
In this session we will look at how Views is put together conceptually and how to leverage it to build particularly complex displays. Some experience with Views is recommended, but the goal is to turn casual Views button-pushers into Views site-building ninjas.
This video tutorial shows you how to use the Skinr module with Adaptivetheme, an advanced starter theme for Drupal.
First you need to download and install the Skinr module (use the -dev version). Adaptivetheme will automatically start using the Skinr module.
In this video we concentrate on the grids classes that are provided by Adaptivetheme (defined in the its info file), and we use them to create layout 4 blocks horizontally, and then we go on to configure a more advanced block layout for the sidebar.
